“Our room was very clean & modernly decorated, had a great king bed and a nice private patio where we spent hours the first evening marveling at the parasail boarders. The public areas were beautifully maintained & clean, heavily padded lounge chairs facing the beach were adorned with clean terry cloth linens each morning, and every evening the areas were lit softly coupled with gas heaters to cut the edge from the cold. I would recommend this place for a romantic getaway...This is a place to relax.”

"Our room was wonderful. Its very best feature was the private balcony overlooking the ocean. We slept at night with the windows open listening to crashing waves all night. Heavenly! The location of the hotel is perfect too. Literally just a few steps to the beach. Although I've stayed at fancier hotels, I am hard pressed to think of an overall hotel experience that I've enjoyed more. Highly, highly recommended. You'd almost think I have some ulterior motive, and I don't. It is just nice to see a no-name independent hotel put such a good foot forward."

"Everything about Tower23 was better than expected. The modern lounge music playing when you enter the room sets the tone for the experience - modern and relaxing. The blend of luxury and location is ideal. Staying right on the PB boardwalk gives you the authentic SD beach experience, but with the comfort and amenities you'd expect in La Jolla. The view from the Surf Pad was stunning and worth the extra money. The service was great...very accommodating but unobtrusive. The tempurpedic beds and flat screen tv's make the rooms feel luxurious. Tower23 is now a must-stay destination for us on our SD trips. The name has become synonymous for us with paradise."
